Since graduating from the University of Brighton in 2013, Chris quickly chose to specialise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and has sought to gain experience working in a variety of settings including NHS clinics, Private hospitals and GP practices. This has included time as a First Contact Practitioner, working in Primary care to provide timely and accurate triage, diagnosis and treatment for patients in a GP setting. He has most recently been working as a Clinical team lead, managing a large team of Physiotherapists and Osteopaths in a busy mixed private and NHS clinic, building on management and leadership skills accumulated in previous roles.

Prior to Physiotherapy Nicki worked in a number of fields after her business studies degree from Edinburgh including advertising and recruitment. While living in Australia she returned to university to study Physiotherapy and completed her combined bachelors and masters and conducted her research on cervical/neck pain.

Nicki’s work in Australia included general musculoskeletal disorders and enjoys working with her patients to get them back to doing their activities pain free. She loves to work with a range of patients which in Australia included elite teenage tennis players, long distance open water swimmers avoiding sharks and also a 103 year old weightlifter.

Nicki uses a mixture of manual therapy, dry needling (acupuncture) and progressive exercises tailored to your needs and sport specific exercises including where suitable reformer Pilates. She has a passion for knees having had multiple surgeries herself and knows that rehabilitation and recovery isn’t always the smooth road to success we aim or hope for. Additional interests include patients with dizziness (BPPV) and cervicogenic headaches (caused by neck pain) and is developing her skills further to specialise in jaw disorders (temporomandibular disorders TMD/TMJ).

Previously a gymnast, in her spare time she also enjoys cycling, indoor skydiving, weight lifting, reformer Pilates, gardening and walking her 2 crazy jack russells.

Roberto graduated in 2007 in Alicante - Spain -, being nominated to the national awards in 'Excellence for university academic performance'. Since then, he has worked in the public sector in the knee specialist unit in Spain, and in private practice as MSK physio both in Spain and in England.

He creates a tailor-made approach for each of his patients, promoting recovery with evidence-based treatment and a variety of techniques - dry needling, osteopathic manipulations, and myofascial release.

Ben graduated with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University, and has has returned to Kent after more than 11 years living and working in Vancouver, Canada.

In addition, he has gained specialized training through completion of a Master's degree in sports physiotherapy from Bath University, which lead him to conduct research into the longstanding groin pain, specifically in football players. Currently he is working towards being able to use ultrasound imaging to assist his practice.

He brings a diversified musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy skill set developed in both Canada and the UK, providing physiotherapy in both the private and public sectors for patients of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

Since returning, alongside his clinic duties, Ben has been on the NHS front line working in local GP practices as a First Contact Practitioner and taking the Head Physiotherapist role in the Canada Senior Men’s Rugby team.

His clinical experience also includes working in the sports sector with the Canadian Mens Rugby leading into the 2019 World Cup and taking over the Head Physiotherapist role for qualifications of the 2023 Rugby World Cup. He also worked with the Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS and was also the chief therapist for the Americas Masters Games overseeing therapy services over 5,000 athletes across 23 sports.

Since qualifying as a Physio and undertaking rotations in the NHS, Louise went on her travels around the world (twice). On her return she moved into the private sector and started to specialise in the treatment of sports injuries. At a similar time she started working for an Australian company and began teaching the DMA Clinical Pilates course which has seen her travel around the world again. Teaching other physios the concept in Europe, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong. She integrates the use of this into her everyday practice and loves using the Pilates reformer and trapeze table to rehabilitate her patients.

She enjoys using her rehabilitation skills in treating adults and children with hEDS and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD), also pregnant ladies with pre and post-natal issues. Having recently completed a course in the Menopause she understands the musculoskeletal issues that women face during this chapter of their lives and takes a holistic view to treatment.

More recently she has undertaken post graduate training in running at the English Institute of Sport where she now integrates the use of video analysis to treat running related injuries. She has also attended the dynamic movement skills (DMS) course to complement this. Working Background:

Claire has been working as an upper limb specialist for many years and has a wealth of experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Whilst working in private practice in London, Claire had the opportunity to work in The Shoulder Unit at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth. This was the beginning of Claire’s road to specialising in the treatment and rehabilitation of surgical and non-surgical shoulder injuries.

Claire has continued this work with her move to Sevenoaks in 2005 and has built up a close working relationship with shoulder specialists. She continues to incorporate all aspects of physiotherapy into the rehabilitation of these patients.

After graduating from King’s College (London) in 1985 Anita worked in the NHS for 7 years before moving into Private Practice in 1992.

Anita has worked alongside a Consultant physiotherapist who was conducting research in carpal tunnel and peripheral nerve injuries in the upper limb. She lectured on post-graduate courses for physiotherapists and supervised students.

She has worked alongside rugby and triathlon clubs using her experience of manual therapy, orthopaedics and sports injuries to return athletes to full performance. Anita has a special interest in treating injuries related to rugby, cricket and martial arts.

Anita has specialised in the treatment and rehabilitation of shoulders, attending recent courses in the advances of the treatment of upper limb injuries. Anita has attended specific hand therapy courses enabling her to treat and rehabilitate hand and wrist patients following trauma and elective surgery. This has led to her extending her expertise and qualifying as a BAHT Hand Therapist. This is a much sought-after qualification and Anita works closely with upper limb consultants to offer a specialist service.

Suzie started her career working in the NHS where she took a keen interest in trauma and orthopaedics. She then enjoyed time working with the military including DMRC Headley Court before moving into the private sector at The Manor Clinic in Sevenoaks. Suzie is also jointly managing the trauma medical services at Tonbridge Juddians RFC.

Her experience working with both the military and in the sporting environment; has allowed Suzie to develop her skills in trauma rehabilitation which includes management of sports injuries as well as the more complex in nature, such as poly-trauma and amputee patients. She can use a variety of treatments including electro and traditional acupuncture, Extra-Corporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT), electrotherapy, specialist 1:1 gym-based rehab, Treadmill/running gait analysis, soft tissue techniques including scar management and manual therapy. Suzie has a holistic approach to patient care and will always put the patient first.

He has also worked for 3 seasons in semi professional sport.

Amy has worked within the NHS, Ministry Of Defense and private sector. Her NHS work incorporated most areas of physiotherapy, including orthopedics and neurology, alongside her main interest in musculoskeletal injuries. While working for the Ministry of Defense Amy became involved in assessing altered biomechanics during training of injured recruits. This has led to her to have a special interest in the treatment of lower limb conditions, alongside injury prevention in sport for both the adolescent and adult sportsman. Artur graduated in 2023 with a First Class Honours degree and a Student of the Year award. During his university studies he also earned his Sports Massage Diploma. He has worked in London and Spain (speaking English and Spanish) with a great cross section of people, from complete gym novices to bikini competitors, tailoring exercise to each individual’s need.

Helen specialises in the rehabilitation of amputees and individuals with complex orthopaedic injuries, peripheral nerve injuries and musculoskeletal complaints. She worked with injured military personnel at Headley Court at the height of the conflict in Afghanistan and assisted amputees of all levels in their prosthetic rehabilitation and return to varying levels of function. She has a specific interest in teaching amputees how to run again and developed a return to run criteria which is now readily used at the military’s new rehabilitation centre Stanford Hall. She has also conducted research in collaboration with Bath University analysing amputee running gait following a period of rehabilitation. She has worked with individuals in a gym based setting but also within the community providing education regarding mobility and functional activities.

Mary qualified as a physiotherapist in 2008 after studying at King’s College London.

Anand has special interests in use of point-of-care-ultrasound (POCUS) for upper and lower Limb injuries, particularly hand and foot pathologies. He has been using POCUS within musculoskeletal management over 10 years. He has worked as an Advanced Physiotherapist in diagnosing and rehabilitating patients with complex musculoskeletal problems.

Anand works closely with his team of physiotherapists to achieve a definitive working diagnosis and enhance rehabilitation with the help of his extensive clinical experience, ultrasound scanning and guided injection skills. He has a special interest in shoulders, particularly managing frozen shoulders, rotator cuff degenerative and calcific tendinopathy.

After qualifying, Jessie completed her general rotations in London before pursuing her specialist interest in Paediatrics in 2009.

She has since worked in both acute and community paediatrics within the NHS, private and independent sectors. She has also acted in a voluntary capacity in several overseas projects.

She has a special interest in complex neuro-disability, postural and tone management and global child health. Jessie is the Team Lead Paediatric Physiotherapist at the Evelina Community team at Guys and St Thomas’s NHS Trust in London where she line-manages a large team of physiotherapists and therapy assistants. She runs complex movement assessment and tone management clinics with Consultant Paediatricians and enjoys working with the wider multi-disciplinary team to assess and treat children holistically to enable participation.

Working Background:

Chris grew up and went to school in Sevenoaks. He trained as a Chiropodist and Podiatrist in London and, having gained experience in the National Health Service, has worked in private practice for over 20 years. He now works from Manor Clinic in Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, and Harley Street in London.

Chris specialises in general practice with a particular interest in gait analysis and biomechanics. He enjoys treating patients and his experience extends from simple foot care to minor surgery.

Working Background:

Angela trained for almost 3.5 years at the largest Acupuncture college in the UK, the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, gaining a Lic Ac and a BSc honours degree in Acupuncture from Kingston University. Her current practice is based in Sevenoaks, Kent.

Angela practices an integrated style of five element constitutional acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine tailored to the individual which includes emotional support. Offering a calm and safe space, Angela does her upmost to assist people that seek her help in improving a diversity of symptoms by addressing the underlying causes. She has a particular interest in the mental health area and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BacC).

Louisa qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Birmingham in 2005. Louisa completed her junior rotations at City Hospital, Birmingham and then further senior rotations at University College Hospital, London. For the last 10 years, Louisa has been working as a specialist neurological physiotherapist at St George’s University Hospital NHS Trust, in both acute and rehabilitation settings. For the last 8 years, Louisa has been a team lead for the Wolfson Neurological Rehabilitation Unit. Louisa has a keen interest in gait rehabilitation and the use of orthotics in neurological patients and jointly ran a MDT Orthotics Clinic with an Orthotist at Queen Mary’s Hospital, working closely with the Gait Laboratory and Spasticity Clinic to ensure a holistic and patient centred treatment approach. Louisa is Bobath trained and enjoys using a range of treatment approaches. Louisa has provided training to other clinicians on gait biomechanics and the use of splinting and casting in the upper and lower limb.

Louisa enjoys working closely and collaboratively with her patients in order to encourage and empower them to achieve their goals. Louisa is enthusiastic and is keen in making the physiotherapy sessions both enjoyable and physically rewarding.​

Jodi graduated with distinctions in Homeopathy and studied extensively at the Durban University of Technology in South Africa. After completing her dissertation, she qualified with a Masters’ Degree in Homeopathy.

He currently works as a clinical lead in Orthopaedic Triage and completes rheumatology and musculoskeletal radiology clinics.

Kavi is co-founder of Xcel Health and has been working as a specialist paediatric physiotherapist for the past 20 years. She is a Bobath trained physiotherapist, and her treatment is primarily based on this method.

She is also trained in both paediatric neurology and paediatric musculoskeletal conditions and uses Bailey’s assessment and GMFM as a standardised assessment for children. Kavi has been highly trained in gait analysis, which gives her the knowledge she needs when prescribing orthoses for children.

Kavi is a prescribing physiotherapist and gained a Postgraduate Certificate from Greenwich University in 2017.

Jamie is a qualified Physiotherapist with an MSc in Physiotherapy from St Mary’s University Twickenham, achieving a distinction, and a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science from University of Nottingham (2:1). His academic training has provided a strong foundation in rehabilitation, manual therapy, and exercise prescription, alongside developing a passion for sport, movement, and physical performance.

He currently works within the NHS at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and will be starting a rotational physiotherapy role with Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in March. He has experience assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions within NHS outpatient settings, supporting patients with joint pain, soft tissue injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation.

At Manor Clinic, Jamie provides sports massage therapy, using hands-on techniques to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support recovery. He has completed additional training in manual therapy for back and shoulder pain and taping, and is skilled in sports massage, muscle energy techniques (METs), and manual mobilisation.

Alongside his clinical work, Jamie enjoys resistance training, long-distance running, and hiking. His goal is to help people return to being physically active, reduce pain, and enjoy the activities they love.
