Our physiotherapists use a range of treatment techniques:
Mobilisation; Manipulation; Massage; Exercise prescription; Video gait analysis; Sports specific rehabilitation; Clinical pilates; Fascial release; Posture re-education; Preventative advice; .
The treatment process involves the following steps:
At the outset of their treatment clients will undergo a thorough assessment which will examine the nature of the problem; the pain presentation and how this impacts on their daily life.
After the examination the best treatment and rehabilitation approach will be formulated. The treatment plan can focus on a manual approach and may include in-house therapy or prescriptive gym and home exercise program. For this we can use Physiotec which gives patients access to a tailored home exercise program accessible through smart phone, electronic tablet or computer. It's easy for to play the video of each exercise, see the number of sets and repetitions, as well as providing written instructions.
