Working Background:
Throughout her career she has worked for the NHS within a variety of specialisms including elderly care, neurology, respiratory, elective orthopaedics and amputee outpatients but currently works as a clinical specialist physiotherapist and first contact practitioner assessing and managing complex musculoskeletal cases.
Her specialist interest is in the treatment and rehabilitation of shoulder and knee pathologies, but she particularly enjoys treating paediatrics, trauma and orthopaedics, post-operative conditions and sports injuries.
She uses a broad range of therapeutic techniques including joint mobilisations, massage, exercise prescription, electrotherapy and acupuncture. She takes pride in knowing her patients gain the education and understanding they need to help them self-manage their condition and to instil them with confidence to help them regain their full function.
